How do you participate in Meetups Bounty? Here are a few general rules and information you need to know.
- Read all the information on the page before you start with your meetups.
- Join our public Telegram and follow us on Twitter to stay in touch with the team and stay updated.
- Properly plan your meetup ahead of time and put enough time into preparation, branding, and promotion. Everything needs time and effort, so do not hurry.
- Create a proper event page where people can apply. If you use lu.ma, please add your meetup to the Polkadot event list. Thanks to that, your meetup will appear in the official Polkadot list of events, and your event will gain better recognition.

- Official Polkadot luma profile: https://lu.ma/user/Polkadot
- Make your event enjoyable; the more creative you are, the better. Think about how you can add value for attendees and make it more fun and interesting.
- Proof of the meetup: the bigger footprint you leave, the better. Making it easier for curators to accept your event is essential. Prepare activities that will leave on-chain or off-chain traces.
- Collect all invoices, pictures, and links and add them to your proposal. Submit form.

Process
Put together the documentation and submit your proposal. A curator responsible for contacting you and working with you will be assigned. You can find who is assigned to you on the main page of this site. Curators must agree to accept/reject the meetup.
After applying, curators have approximately 7-10 days to curate the event. This time might be prolonged if any documentation needs to be added or the curator is waiting for any other information from the organizer during the holiday season. Time might also be affected by technicalities around running the bounty, like waiting for top-ups.
