Thanks to our latest proposal, Meetups bounty now has a reward of up to 300 USD, which can be rewarded for successful events. The organizer will receive this reward together with the child bounty for the event, and the person will be informed about the amount. This reward is not for executing the event, but for the extra work, the person put into it.
Receiving the full 300 USD should not be easy, and it's not guaranteed that you will receive it. Our internal evaluation system is created to motivate organizers to grow, do a better job, and improve their meetups. You do not need to ask for a reward in your proposal document.

Attention: If the curator has any doubts about the event, the reward will not be added.

We will be reviewing a whole bunch of things about your meetup:
- The general execution of your event and effectiveness
- Cost management: How much you spend and how good you were at managing funds
- Quality of communication, your submission, and your involvement in the ecosystem
- Documents, their quality, and the amount
- Any extra effort you put into your event
What do we want to see?
- Your creativity
- Engagement of attendees
- Activity, besides talks created during the meetup (on-chain, off-chain).
- Example of on-chain activity:
- DOTmemo: Create a POAP, which event attendees can easily claim, on-chain competitions
- GavunWUD: This game can be played via NovaWallet or Subwallet, Talisman, or Polkadot.js. After downloading, people can compete to getthe highest score - the highest score can win merchandise or something similar
- Connect with any other Polkadot project to find out how you can include them
- Examples of off-chain activity:
- Competitions, quizzes, games, anything creative enough
- Social media trace
- Clarity and transparency
- Visible growth and impact of the meetup
